A true community event

Members of the Hawaii Kai Lions Club will hold its 36th annual Fathers’ Day Benefit Breakfast on Sunday, June 21, 2009 from 6:30am to 10:30am.   This much anticipated community event serves approximately 3,500 breakfasts at the Kaiser High School Cafeteria on Lunalilo Home Road.  Tickets are $6.00 each and can be bought at the door. Eat-in and take-out service is available.

The benefit breakfast is the club’s major fundraising project for the year. Monies raised will be used to fund the many Lions Club volunteer projects in the community such as:
The annual Hawaii Kai Holiday Parade
Vision testing for all preschool children in East Oahu
Junior Police Officer (JPO) recognition night
Boy Scout and Cub Scout projects
Financial and voluntary assistance for East Oahu public schools, elementary, intermediate and high school
Financial and voluntary assistance to the Lunalilo Adult Day Care Center
Monetary support of Hawaii Kai Library
And many other projects throughout Oahu

The club thanks everyone who contributes to this important work in helping the Lions make a difference in the Hawaii Kai community.
